Here's how it works.
The
Follow Me box plugs into your landline. Inside the Follow Me are all of the electronics of a mobile phone. When it receives a call from the landline it diverts or forwards the call to the mobile number you have told it to divert to. You can either do this using an attached desktop phone or if you're on the road you can send a text message to the
Follow Me.
You don't have to keep on changing the number to divert to as you can ask your
Follow Me to always ring the local phone in your office even if its diverting calls to other numbers. Whichever phone is answered first takes the call.
The
Follow Me uses exactly the same SIM as the one in your mobile phone. The clever bit is that if you choose one of the new group tariffs from Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange or O2, calls between phones in the same group cost nothing!
